Giving Tuesday! Colorproof x It Gets Better Project

After days of shopping and deals, Giving Tuesday provides a moment of reflection and generosity. This Giving Tuesday, Colorproof is proud to support the It Gets Better Project. Typically, the holidays are a source of joy and light, but for many around the world, this time of year is particularly hard, especially if you feel isolated or not accepted by those around you. For many LGBTQ+ youth, this is their reality. Through our partnership with It Gets Better, we hope to help reverse and instill hope and light to the LGBTQ+ community.

We have mentioned some sobering statistics around LGBTQ+ youth on our blog before and unfortunately, the holidays do not ease any of these problems and can often make going about daily life more difficult. Going home to relatives who are not accepting, and often outright rejecting, coupled with traditional holiday anxiety, is one of the many reasons the holidays are so hard. To combat this, one of the most important and impactful actions is to connect with allies during this time. Therefore we, at Colorproof, find it vital to support It Gets Better, not just during Pride month in June, but whenever our support is most needed.
