Diversion is a serious issue facing the Professional Beauty Industry and is particularly frustrating for salon owners and stylists. At Colorproof, we have a firm anti-diversion stance, and with your help, are working to halt this unethical practice.

Diversion occurs when products are sold by “unauthorized retailers” (such as grocery stores, drug stores, discount chain stores, etc.) both online and in-store. Any Colorproof products sold outside of our authorized retailers are considered diverted, and may be subject to any number of risks, including dilution, contamination, being over-aged or counterfeit. Known diverters include but are not limited to eBay, Walmart, Jet.com, Overstock.com.

Colorproof products are guaranteed only when offered through authorized retail outlets and salons. We do NOT accept returns from unauthorized retailers, as we are unable to vouch for the products’ authenticity and quality. To ensure our customers are purchasing authentic Colorproof products from a reliable source, we direct them to their local Colorproof salon, Colorproof.com or our Amazon.com brand store.

We require all Colorproof authorized, licensed salons and distributors to sign an agreement committing not to divert product. If we find a salon or distributor to be in violation of this agreement, we do not hesitate to terminate our business with them.

Help us halt the unethical process of diversion by reporting any diversion to Colorproof by emailing us at diversion@Colorproof.com. Please include the outlet name, location, products carried and quantity. The information provided will be held strictly confidential and used for the sole purpose of gathering additional information needed to uncover diversion schemes.
