LGBTQ+ Youth: Navigating Real-Life Hurdles

You might recall us sharing some eye-opening statistics about the struggles and unique challenges that LGBTQ+ youth encounter. Unfortunately, the holiday season doesn't magically sweep these issues away; in fact, it can actually magnify them. Returning home to unsupportive or rejecting family members, mixed with traditional holiday pressures, can make this time of year exceptionally challenging for many. That's why we believe in the power of connecting with allies during these moments. At Colorproof, we consider it essential to support It Gets Better, not just during Pride Month in June, but whenever our LGBTQ+ community needs it most.

About the It Gets Better Project

The It Gets Better Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a steadfast dedication to uplifting, empowering, and connecting LGBTQ+ youth around the globe. It all started back in 2010 as one of YouTube's most successful viral campaigns, and it has continued to provide critical support and hope to LGBTQ+ youth worldwide. Beyond its roots in storytelling and media, the project now offers educational resources through It Gets Better EDU, reaching 18 countries beyond the U.S. through It Gets Better Global.
