Virtual Happy Hour: CP’s Guide to Mix (without the Mingle)

As we enter week??? of social distancing, most of us have gotten used to seeing ourselves on screen for video chats, meet-ups and meetings. That alone is a reason to celebrate. Enter the virtual happy hour. Whether you are clocking hours from your home office, or homeschooling littles from a classroom that used to resemble your dining room table, happy hour has never been more important to celebrate the week’s wins. Shaken or stirred, it’s well deserved. Since the “work from home” became our new norm, the ColorProof team has been mixing it up weekly with Zoom happy hours. Here are some tips and tricks from our crew for welcoming summer from the comforts of home.

TIPS:

  1. Gather Your Group – Send a text, meeting invite, or email with the date, time and log-in details. Step it up a notch with an Evite or PaperlessPost.com text ready invite.

  2. Choose Your Glass – You’re at home so anything goes! Pick something pretty, fun or festive. Whatever feels good in your hand and is pleasing to your eye.

  3. Set the Scene – Set yourself up in your favorite well-lit spot or even take it outdoors to your balcony or backyard.

  4. Craft Your Cocktail – Beer or wine are the obvi choices, or choose from one of the CP team’s fave at-home cocktail recipes:
