While 2020 was all about staying in, today's girls are dreaming of the parties of the ‘80s and the hair that went with them. Whether enhancing natural curls or going for a “modern wave,” curls are back. Curls with layers and fringe…even better.

The standout of the season was bold fringe. Blunt cut, supersized bangs that fell just below the brow and shaggy, chic bangs made us stop and convinced us to make the chop.
Tip: Prep hair with HeatProof Anti-Frizz Blow Dry Crème and blow dry in a downward direction to keep fringe frizz-free and in place.

Much like ‘90s models (think Kate Moss), we saw air-dried, grunge-esq styles. Think side parts and natural texture falling below the shoulder, exuding oops-I-slept-in style.

From bows and headbands to barrettes, feathers and oodles of bobby pins, hair embellishments were the icing on the cake. Often dressing up the “I just woke up like this” trend (see above), these simple style makers stole the runway.
Tip: Add grip to hair prior to placing your accessory using PowderFix Instant Volume Texture Powder Spray. Finish your look with AllAround Color Protect Working Spray or for long-lasting, all-day hold or opt for HardCore Epic Hold Color Protect Hairspray.
